A stable financial position and mature risk controls enable us to build reliable long-term partnerships.

All imported aquatic products are imported directly through official customs channels and complete the required customs, inspection, and quarantine procedures.

For every batch, we can provide customs declarations, inspection and quarantine reports, and traceability documents needed for regulatory checks, retail onboarding, store audits, and tenders.

FAQ background

Product Range & Quality Control

Our portfolio covers nine core categories for foodservice, retail, e-commerce, institutional catering, gifts, and private-label manufacturing: pangasius, channel catfish, longsnout catfish, snakehead fish, sea bass, prepared whole fish, premium shrimp, fish by-products, and general food products.

Products include ready-to-cook fish slices, butterfly-cut pangasius, fillets, butterfly-cut sea bass and catfish, black tiger shrimp, shrimp meat, fish maw, fish offal, collagen peptides, edible fish oil, and frozen prepared foods.

Refined pre-processing makes the range ready to cook without washing or marinating, reducing kitchen labor and ingredient waste.

Unified production standards tightly control slice thickness, net weight, appearance, and yield, ensuring consistent specifications and taste across batches for standardized chain operations.

Snakehead slices are carefully deboned and remain intact during cooking; butterfly-cut fish is deodorized and freshness-locked; live shrimp is rapidly frozen to retain its natural texture and nutrients.

Octogone applies end-to-end quality control. Samples from every batch are tested for heavy metals, veterinary drug residues, microorganisms, moisture, specification, and appearance.

Low-temperature retention samples and laboratory re-inspection are also required. Products are released only after all tests and final factory inspection pass, with traceability throughout the process.

Butterfly-cut pangasius, channel catfish, longsnout catfish, and sea bass are ideal for grilled-fish restaurants and also suit Chinese dining, banquets, and retail.

Ready-to-cook pangasius and snakehead slices work well for pickled fish soup, boiled fish, hot pot, and malatang. Premium shrimp can be stir-fried, pan-fried, boiled, grilled, or served in seafood platters.

Fish maw and offal serve hotels, premium gift retailers, regional restaurants, and hot-pot operators. Other prepared foods cover household retail, institutional catering, snacks, and private-label production.

The coordinated capacity of 12 domestic and overseas production bases, supported by standardized automated lines, enables Octogone to handle large orders and concentrated peak-season demand.

Dedicated headquarters quality-control staff supervise production on site under unified national standards, minimizing batch differences and protecting the consistency of long-term and high-volume orders.

Storage: keep all frozen aquatic and prepared products continuously at -18°C or below. Do not thaw and refreeze.

Shelf life: refer to the expiry information printed on the product packaging.

Thawing: slow thawing under refrigeration is recommended. Avoid prolonged soaking at high temperatures to preserve flavor and texture.

Octogone operates a dual domestic and international production network. Pangasius and black tiger shrimp are sourced directly from farming bases in Vietnam, while channel catfish, snakehead fish, sea bass, and longsnout catfish are produced domestically.

Our integrated supply chain and nationwide multi-warehouse network provide stable year-round supply with very low stockout risk.

Cooperation, Service & Customization

We serve national restaurant chains, new-retail supermarkets, fresh-food e-commerce platforms, regional frozen-food distributors, wholesale markets, government, school and hospital catering, central kitchens, and prepared-food brands.

Cooperation models include long-term framework agreements, bulk single-product purchasing, mixed-category orders, distribution partnerships, and private-label OEM production.

Yes. Our independent R&D laboratory works with professional culinary research teams to customize product specifications, slice thickness, seasoning formulas, and prepared-food flavors.

We also support foodservice bulk packs, smaller retail packs, exclusive private labels, and custom shapes and specifications to help customers build differentiated products and signature dishes.

Samples are available nationwide across the product range and are dispatched from the nearest warehouse for kitchen trials, internal verification, and approval.

Standard products have accessible minimum order quantities and support mixed-category loading. Fish, shrimp, fish by-products, prepared foods, and snacks can be delivered together.

Customers do not need to hold a full truckload of a single item, reducing initial inventory cost and cold-storage pressure for new distributors and smaller foodservice operators.

More than 50 regional cold-chain warehouses support nearby dispatch and coverage across China.

The closed-loop cold chain maintains -18°C throughout transport. Vehicles use GPS tracking, real-time temperature monitoring, and automatic temperature-break alerts, making routes and compartment temperatures traceable.

Delivery options include full-truck direct delivery to central kitchens, small emergency replenishment for stores, and regional distributor stocking.

Source control: domestic and overseas farming and processing resources reduce raw-material price risk, while whole-fish utilization spreads production costs.

Direct supply: products move from factory to customer without unnecessary distribution markups.

Scale: multi-base production lowers processing and energy costs, with further optimization available for high-volume orders.

Quality value: recognized domestic and international certifications deliver competitive quality at a lower total procurement cost.

We support joint product development with strategic customers. The R&D team can develop seasoned prepared foods and distinctive ingredients based on market trends and restaurant requirements.

Standard specification or recipe adjustments can be completed quickly. Timelines for entirely new categories are agreed according to the brief, followed by rapid sampling and production implementation.
